It all started with a simple, yet heartbreaking realization.

As lifelong bird lovers and proud parents to two energetic Cockatiels, we wanted what every pet owner wants: to share the beauty of the world with our feathered family members. We wanted to take them on morning walks, weekend hikes, and outdoor adventures.

However, we quickly discovered a frustrating reality. The market was flooded with cheap, poorly ventilated plastic carriers and heavy, restrictive metal cages. Many carriers used toxic glues or synthetic fabrics that could easily harm a bird’s sensitive respiratory system. Others offered zero visibility, turning what should be an exciting trip into a terrifying ordeal for the bird.

We thought, "Our birds deserve better. They deserve freedom. They deserve absolute comfort."

In the spring of 2024, Perchfy was born in our small garage.

We teamed up with top avian veterinarians, textile experts, and product designers with one clear mission: to engineer premium, 100% bird-safe lifestyle gear that seamlessly bridges the gap between indoor safety and outdoor exploration.
